Lighting Collection Shogun in Artemide style
Shogun is an iconic Artemide table lamp designed by Mario Botta in 1976. Its distinctive silhouette – a truncated cone base with a horizontal cylindrical shade – has become a symbol of postmodern design. The shade rests on two slender metal supports, creating a gap that allows light to spill both upward and downward. The lamp is made of painted steel and aluminum, with a white or black finish. The shade is internally polished to maximize light output from a standard E27 bulb. Shogun is a sculptural masterpiece, equally striking when turned off. It is perfect for desks, bedside tables, or as a decorative accent. The design has been exhibited in museums worldwide, including the MoMA.
