Empatia by Artemide is a sustainable LED lighting system that combines energy efficiency with emotional warmth. Designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua (Artemide’s vice president and design director), Empatia uses an innovative heat dissipation technology that allows the LED to operate at a lower temperature, extending its life and maintaining stable color rendering. The collection’s name reflects its goal: to create a “sympathy” between light and environment.

Empatia fixtures feature a slim aluminum body with a layered diffuser design that produces a wide, glare-free beam. Available as a pendant, ceiling-mounted, or recessed version, the luminaire offers tunable white (from 2700K to 4000K) and full dimmability. The design is minimal and understated – a thin ring or rectangular panel that almost disappears into the ceiling.
