Lighting Collection Pirce in Artemide style

Pirce is a collection of outdoor and indoor lighting by Artemide, designed by Karim Rashid. Its name comes from “pierce” – the fixtures feature a metallic mesh or perforated screen that “pierces” the light into patterns. The collection includes floor lamps, table lamps, and pendant lights made of laser-cut aluminum sheet, formed into cones, cylinders, or spheres. The perforations create a play of light and shadow on surrounding surfaces.

The interior of the fixture houses an LED source that shines through the perforations, casting dappled light patterns reminiscent of sunlight through leaves. The finishes include white, black, and copper. Pirce is suitable for both indoor living spaces and covered outdoor terraces. The sculptural quality of the mesh makes the lamp a focal point even when unlit.
